update: EDD improvements

A new beta version of Electronic Document Delivery (EDD) is available for
testing.  EDD is an Open Source(tm) automation tool for posting images
received via Ariel to the web as pdf files. 

The new version includes all the VB5 source/project files, perl scripts,
and a description of how to install it where you are.  Note, however, that
not many folks have tried this yet so it might take some tweaking.

EDDbeta is available from its home page at the oss4lib site:

EDD is free software, available to be used, modified, and redistributed
in accordance with the GNU General Public License.  Ariel is a product of
the Research Libraries Group -- see www.rlg.org for more.
