Hi John,

I would be interested in the VB stuff that you say you have found..
We are in the process of implimenting Aleph 500 which runs on
Oracle, and I have written a number of reports using Crystal32 Pro
which I have included in a VB app for our library Staff.. The problem
that I have is that all the marc fields are stored in a single
VarChar(2) field in Oracle which does not help me when I retrieve
the field with SQl.. What I would of course LIKE to do, is build a
procedure within my VB app that would take each record that I
selected and process the marc into fields.. If there is already
something out there that could help me accomplish this, it would
shave a LOT of hours off of my development time..

Thanx

SeeYa

John
