Comments: To foster communication between librarians and OSS

The Avanti 0.1 source code is now available for downloading in zip
archive format.  This zip file contains the entire source code and a
demo program for running and testing the code (you will need JDK1.1.6 or
something comparable to compile and run the program).  What works so far
is very basic circulation functions.  Included is a README file with
instructions for compiling and running the program.  Try it out and well
me what you think.  Just bear in mind that this is code in a very early
stage of development.
